well it looks like i F/K'd up and blew my head gasket doing a pull for "fun" so its time to take the head off and get some new stuff. right now I have a fel-pro gasket set on it and all the parts are still under warranty. I don't plan on making any more than 400hp ever with this car so should i be fine putting in a new fel-pro perma torque head gasket and torquing my ARP's down "right" this time or should i go a little more heavy duty? I WILL check my head for warpage before putting it together, especially since it ran at about 240 to 250 limping it for 5 minutes and I'll get it decked if it has any. just looking for opinions here on if the perma torque is enough for me and i just made a dumb mistake with the ARP head studs or if i NEED to get something like a cometic?
I time it everytime I do it and that is my fastest time
helps when you have done it 5+ times in a couple months (not all on mine, I replace a few for other people locally)
