Well my car was smoking when at idle and sometimes when i accelerated, plus car at 4k sounds like i have a turbo when i don't. I paid 1500 for it and car was sitting for a year. I did a tune up(wires plugs filters battery and all that). Flushed cooling system. After all that it was still smoking some so i did a wet and dry on it to find that at least 2 piston rings are broke. Started paying attention to my oil a bit more just to realize i am burning about 3 quarts in less than 1000 miles. (not good) so to make sure i took the car in to the shop.....low and behold they said i had bad rings, and the walls were more than likely grooved and i" had serious internal engine damage". My options are to try and sell it for what i paid for it while it still runs....change the oil to 50w and add treatment to slow the oil bypass and run her till she dies...or take this opportunity to sell the car and buy a better 2g. I found a couple turbos for 6000-8000 bucks. Other options is to attempt to repair the car but it seems that the repairs would cost a lot as well....So what do you think i should do????

buy a dodge neon dohc block pistons rods and crank and throw it in use the head and exhaust mani of your motor and you got a cheep fix. good luck
