Ticking Noise From Behind Driver Seat ?!?!?

OK...I got a 93 gsx but due to money issues it has been sitting for a while cause i have not been able to put in what i wanted. But the other day when i went to drive it around i found that my battery was dead from a short. I then remembered that i had heard a small ticking nosie coming form the panels right behind the driver seat (but not on passenger side). This noise countinued even when the car was off with no keys in the ignition. This leads me to think that this is the cause for the dead battery. From what i can but together the electric seat belt motor is my only thought. Any idea what this could be?? If it is the motor how do i go about taking it out ?!?

It may be the stock amplifier located under the passenger seat.

It sounds like it could be the power belt motor. You will need to pull out a bunch of things to get there. It is not difficult, but you will likely break some of the little clips.(maybe all) Let's see if I can remember this right now...

I you need to take out the rear seat bottom. There is a screw and a clip down there if I remember right. You will need to fold down the back and get the clip there. Also near the quarter glass you will see 3 clips, you need to remove the front one. I think you can leave the door sill and the a-pillar piece in place and just pull the end up, but removing these will make it easier. I think that should cover it. Anybody have more or better info, don't hessitate to post.
