Ticking noise from ecu??

i have a 91 eagle talon n/t fwd. before the axle popped out ( from a bent cross member im in the middle of replacing ) i was sitting in my car with the cd player on. the car was not running, key was on acc. once i turned the key completly off, i heard a ticking sound under the hood. i found it was comming either from the ecu or under it. now why would that have anything to do with the cd player? or would it be from something else? the car still runs and has never done it since, but just curious. thanks.

It's your IAC resetting as your engine cools down. You must have had the key in the run position as the engine was cooling, when it reaches a certain temprature, the ECU changes the IAC position to a preset position. During certain parts of the transition it can make a flickering noise from the bottom of the throttle body.
