throw out bearing goin out??

i was jst wondering what would a "goin out" throwout bearing sounds like..
one of my friends told me that my throw out bearing is goin out..it makes like a clack clack noise by the transmission..

Well its possible but you arent going to know until you pull it and look. Sounds mmmm mine just locked up and i coudnt change gears.

When at idle you will hear a grinding/rattling noise but when you disengage the clutch the noise will go away.

yes, that is what happens
