throttle cable issue?

im not sure how my throttle cable is supposed to be ran threw the engine bay i thought i had it hooked up right but when i hook it up too the back of the intake manifold the adjustment part isnt lined up enless i pull the cable causeing the engine to idle at like 2k if anybody can send me a picture of their engine bay or tell me how the cables supposed to be ran thatd be awsome thanks
