I just installed my non-cruse throttle cable and I have a very very very faint rubbing noise. I do not drive the car much so I forgot if it was there before. I just think my OCD is acting up (haha) but I wanted to see if someone could check theirs for me. Inside the car (cars not on) push the gas pedal down. Is there a very very very faint rubbing noise? Oh yea, car runs good and cable does not stick at all. Very smooth feeling other then the rubbing noise.

you could try lubing up the cable and see if the sound goes away. it sounds like you are hearing the cable rub inside the sheath. i use dupont teflon silicone lubricant the stuff is awesome for a light lube spray
