I’ve see a couple threads and it looks like I’m beat but thought I would ask anyways.

98gsx. Still has cruise. The other day I needed to jump the car as it’s been sitting most of the winter. somehow in the process the jumper handle shorted to my throttle cable. I’m an idiot I guess. It’s The one coming out of the cruise box to the throttle body. it’s toast.

Anyone have any leads on a cable or replacement that will work?? Would like to keep the cruise in the car. Trying to keep as complete as possible.

Not sure I agree with lead but there are several you tube videos out there for repairs or even make a new cable.

Haven’t watched it yet but I actually thought about trying to put back together with weld or solder. Just got the cable out. When it shorted I think the reminder of the cable welded itself to metal end of the tube. Can’t move the cable from the other side. I’ll grab some pliers and see if get it out
