Ok here it gos sorry for the newbie question these two hoses are coolant hoses right or are they vacuum hoses ? Next if these were off the car when you bought it and capped and one of the capped hoses fell off could this be were a boost leak is coming from?

The 2 large nipples at the bottom of the throttle body are for coolant lines. They are for the FIAV (Fast Idle Air Valve) which causes your engine to idle higher when its cold so it can warm up faster. It is common to see the FIAV blocked off or bypassed. It is not a cause of boost leaks.

Hope this helps!

It could have been a JB Weld hack job bypass. But yeah like Brian said, pull the FIAV off and check it out (if that is your tb). There are like 5 screws on the bottom that hold it to the throttle body (they are a pain in the butt though).

that is not the one that came off the car just a pic I got off this site. I am trying to track down a boost leak and thought this might be where it was coming from. I am going to do the Throttle Body Shaft Seals next and see if that fix's my problem.
