Alright I am ready to be called stupid....... I did a boost check on my car with a
DIY boost checker. I heard a small leak from my Bypass valve, and also from my throttle body. So I went to my auto parts store and I tried to get a throttle body gastket...... but no luck. So I bought gasket material. I used high temp gastket sealer, but I made sure that I did not get it on or near the moveable surfaces and air ports. After I let it dry I started it up, and she ran great. I took her for a drive, getting on her a little bit but not like just constant hall ass mode. After the car warmed up, the idle changed alot and started to slowly oscilate. During the oscilaton I can hear a faint beep its not constant,,,,, it beeps and the idle changes. There is no engine light. Could I have gotten sealant in the air passages, or fried a sensor. I have listened to the beep for a little bit and it almost sounds like it is coming for the MAF/ MAS on the intake tube. Any thoughts?

So would it help if I video'd the "beep". I will take off the Throttle body and check if any sealant got into the throttle area. Does anyone else use sealant in that area?

I drove the car today to and from work. I can still hear the "beep". Also the car is Idleing high, and it will not adjust down any. Is there some type of valve or sensor that might affect the Idle of the car? Help please.

There is an idle screw on the throttel body, if you do a bit of searching on here someone already has pics of it. Just remember when adjusting only turn screw a very small amount at a time or you will adjust to far. alot of people have the same issue. i would recommend a video so i can hear because this beep and a hi idle could be part of the same thing.

Did you do another boost leak test after wards and did you check for leaks using soapy water in a spray bottle?

Don't mess with the screw if you cannot either check for proper voltage or monitor the ICS position. Chances are you got something in the TB so take it off and look for debris.
