Someone is selling me a used act 2600 clutch that is in good condition. Never slipped on him and was rarely raced on. Has approximately 30k miles. What you guys think? Reason I want a used clutch is because my car is gonna hit the dyno in about 3 days and am looking for 430whp and rite now I have a 2100. Skeptical about buying a brand new clutch and dynoing the car with no break in on the clutch. Need advice.

I would highly reccomend a new clutch because if it wears out on you in 10k or so youll regret it. You will have to either put another one in or pay for labor again. Like everyone arround here usualy says "Do it once, Do it right". On my car my mustang, I got a bran new clutch installed and took it to the dyno 2 days later and it worked out great. I did drive around for a little wile trying to break it in. You can just get the new clutch then drive arround for a wile to break it in.

Like he said, the more expensive part of a clutch is getting it put in, so spend an extra couple bucks and get a new one, go drive around all night to break it in, then enjoy :sneaky:

That would be awesome. Problem is my car isnt running and Im taking it about 300 miles away to get worked on by a shop. Once its running, its gonna get dynotuned.
