Thinking Of Buying A Eclipse

Whats up guys, I found this site while looking for info on a 91 Eclipse GSX that I'm seriously thinking about buying. Its a 2 owner car with barely over 70,000 miles onit(it rolled over the 70,000 mark while I was test driving it), it has all the service recods/recipts from the time it was bought in the glove box. The car seems to be in pretty good shape except it idels really low in gear but runs fine when driving, the owner says it has a cracked exhaust manifold, could that be the problem? Also what are some things that generaly go wrong with these cars so I can look for them.

the same things that go wrong generaly with any car .
But `1g's tend to develop cracks in the manifold over time.. thats normal.

Could the cracked manifold cause the bad idle?

Even though it has low miles it is probably the IAC motor taking a shit. You can find ways to test it at www.vfaq.com If you get the car then put that site in your bookmarks cause you will need it.
