Id keep the n/t to get to know DSM's a little better before I jumped into a finicky machine such as an awd 1g, it'll make a man out of you thats for sure.

Just make sure to bring your helmet and your game face.:rocks:

I hate my n/t but I do have some mechanic experience I replaced the head and timed my talon. Are the 1gs really that bad but im gonna have to learn to work on them anyways.

1gs are at least 12 years old. Of course they will have problems, but then again your 95 isn't new either. Buy one that's in good shape and well maintained, replace anything that's due for replacement and don't beat the crap out of it and it will be fine. Definitly go for a turbo model.

that alone tells me youre not ready. 3 weeks? you should be grateful you even have a car thats as decent as a 2g n/t, and you didnt have some older 70's hand me down landbarge.

get some experience behind you and save up some money before jumping from 17's to 14's and landing in a money pit or a hospital bed, or both.
