I had a couple of questions

1.)what should i look for while i test drive it?
any thing i should be looking out for?
2.)they are asking 3200 obo but it has license plates from mexico and was wondering if all eagle talons were made here in the USA and would i be able to switch the title over from mexico and meet dot requirements being that if they where sold and made here they had to come dot certified
3.)By any chance does any one the process of switching the title and plates from a car from mexico over to the usa like requirements or paperwork i would need

Thx in advance

Most cars made here would be found elsewhere; like Mexico or Canada. However, have the VIN run on the car to see if it was originally a US car that was exported to Mexico or if it was a Mexico market car from the start. The reason for that is if the car was originally sold in the U.S. it will be a littler easier to export it back here and get it registered. If it was a Mexican car, you may have to modify it to pass U.S. crash standards. You'll also have to get it inspected more than likely and pay to have it imported. So it's a little more involved.

As far as things to look for: look to see what's been done to the car or if it is stock. If the car had mods, as the owner what they were and see if he can give details on how they were installed or who did the work. Look for cut wires, loose items, or anything that appears to be out of place. Start the car and listen to any rattles, noises and such. Check the fluids to make sure there's no discoloration, ect. Take it for a drive and listen for suspension noises and such. Also ask the owner about matainance.

A well cared for car should be fine.... but if things look questionable; then proceed with caution.

From my experiences you want a talon as much stock as possible. If hey are hooked up and seem to good to be true it usually is. When you buy a hooked up talon you are buying someone elses problems. Usually a reason they are getting rid of it. Just be careful and listen to all the sounds.

Yea, that's true... but some were made for export. If that's the case those cars have different provisions to meet other country's crash expectations.

going to set up a test drive sometime this weekend keep you all posted on how it drives and how many miles it has and if any performance parts.
