Wait you bought the Eclipse at the junkyard as a complete car for sale? Or
Did you buy it as a parts car and fixed it?
Sorry for all the questions, just a bit confused...

DMV always messes up, could be on them!
But, the junkyard always ####s me over on parts for the eclipse, so I just take things I need since they over price! :dsm:

No i bought the car about 6 years ago from a friend and january of this year the junk yard or the dmv randomly said my car was recycled, and i have to prove that it wasnt recycled and i have been driving it for a long time

That sounds rubbish... How can they list that your car got recycled randomly...

Picked up a pair of stock 14" rims for $120 off Craigslist.
No curb damage or any defects on the tire / rim.
The tires are still new, about 70-80% TREAD!
All 4 rims! Good buy In my opinion! :D

Just washed them up a bit

How much did you pay for that clutch and did it come with a new throwout bearing?

:dsm:

245 and you're talking about the metal ring that's like an inch big? If so, yes the "bearing" aka ring was also given.

Cleaned headlight
(Thanks Edd)

(Not Dsm but I did it)
Installed new head lights on a Subaru Wrx

Fixes radio and short shifter

How'd you clean your headlights?
I've actually been looking into it these few days... I've read about stuff that you clean, rub and wipe etc... Sand paper... Buffer... Wax... Etc...

Took my Eclipse to Mitsubishi and they're replacing the ball joints ( recall )

Not getting my car back until tomorrow. They called me saying all joints were bad ant they did not have the parts... So they should arrive tomorrow along with my car being fixed... :dsm:

SO, you went to a Mitsu dealership? I ask because if it weren't for that Mitsu sign I wouldn't believe you considering the cars you took a photo of... :toobad:

I actually tried to get a good picture of the Mitsubishi pole :aha:
The dealership didn't really look like a dealership, just an area to buy parts and go get your car fixed...

When I was looking for my X, ball mitsu only had a base model Mr in white that everyone was test driving... they didn't seem like they were doing that hot... then again most mitsu dealerships are scarce now all I wouldn't doubt it

Yeah it was that one. I was expecting to see a lot of Evo's and Lancers. Sadly I didn't see any of the 2.

I wouldn't doubt it, the customer service was terrible. They said they were going to give me a rental car until my car was done. They gave me a sheet and took me to rent a car or w.e is a few blocks away from them. With a green paper, the people told me the paper was useless and didn't give me a car. They did however give me a ride home...

For me loving Mitsubishi, that was a real turn off.

@Corey, I'll upload my paper from them if you'd like to see more proof LOL

Went to my friends house and got my clutch changed $70. Apparently I need to get a new transmission or rebuild mine! That is why it sounds like it was rattling/dragging.

Will post pictures shortly.

Tomorrow I go and get my front struts changed with my friend again for $30. Great guy to work with and knows a lot of about cars.
