2G Thermal R&D Exhaust (alternative)

So I have a GST fully built but never touched the exhaust. The previous owner had (cat back) beside taking out cats and downpipe. I’m looking for a new exhaust and the only one I found that sounded good was the Thermal R&D exhaust and it’s F'ing DISCONTINUED and I want to find the best alternative. I want something with a deep tone but not loud high pitched if you understand me. My turbo doesn’t start spooling up till 3-3.5k so I want something that sounds good at bottom end.

There aren't very many options for 2G GS-T anymore. You're best bet is to find one second hand on FB marketplace or something, or go fully custom and tuned to your liking.

For what it's worth. I found my thermal exhaust on FB marketplace, and paid an arm and a leg to get it shipped to me from across the country. They are out there, might just have to wait it out.

You're in california, so I'm not sure how viable this even is.

But Thermal R&D just use polished/rebranded Magnaflow 3" in/out mufflers with their own tip welded on. If you can find someone that'll bend you a custom cat-back, just buy a Magnaflow 3" in/out straight muffler, and have them weld that on at the end. It'll sound just like a thermal exhaust, and its not discontinued.

Here's my old 2G with a 3" mandrel bent exhaust with a Magnaflow center 3" in/3" out muffler. No resonators. It was also a full turbo-back exhaust from the downpipe to the muffler with no resonators, and had a 3" high flow cat in the middle.

It sounded even more heavenly in person, and inside the car was quiet AF.
