I dont understand why this is the same day as the DSM shootout in Norwalk Ohio? I would Like to go to this as well as the DSM shootout. It seems retarded to have it the same day. :confused:
I guess Its cause everybody hates david buschur huh? Well Instead of trying to kill the DSM shootout in Ohio just make a whole new one. I would love to have MORE big DSM /EVO events!
Seems like this scheduling was done to piss certain people off. But we are all suffering cause I can only be in one state at a time. IT SUCKS that I have to miss this showdown. :notgood:
 
It is only $800 for the big dogs in quick 16. There are 6 other clases to race in that are only $30. There is a class for everyone, even a bracket class for those of us with 15 sec stock dsms.:thumb:

EVO vs. WRX/STI Heads Up Class:
DOT approved Tires ONLY. Must run full exhaust. NHRA safety rules apply. No Fiberglass front ends. No Lexan. 16 Car field (8 Fastest EVO's and 8 FASTEST WRX's/STI's will compete Heads Up) .4 Pro Tree.

EVO vs. WRX/STI Stock Appearing Heads Up Class:
Full Street Trim, Registered, Insured, True DOT Radial Tire, Stock Appearing Turbo (Evo up to 20 G / WRX up to 20 G or VF family OK) No GT 35's or 50 Trims. After market intake or exhaust manifold OK. Front mounted intercooler and pipe upgrade ok. 16 Car field (8 Fastest EVO's and 8 FASTEST WRX's/STI's will compete Heads Up) .4 Pro Tree.

EVO vs. WRX/STI Bracket Class:
Dial your own ET. NHRA safety rules apply.

DSM Bracket Class:
Dial your own ET. NHRA safety rules apply.

DSM Stock Appearing Class Heads Up Class:
Full Street Trim, Registered, Insured, True DOT Radial Tire, Stock Appearing Turbo (Evo up to 20 G OK) No GT 35's or 50 Trims. After market intake or exhaust manifold OK. Front mounted intercooler and pipe upgrade ok. 8 Car field. .4 Pro Tree.

Street 16:
Slicks OK. Full exhaust. No fiberglass front ends or Lexan. 68 mm Turbo. Interior must be in the car from the front seats forward. Minimum weight 2800 lbs. Heads Up. 16 car field. .4 Pro Tree

Ill be there too, do you guys think a lot of dsms will show up to this thing other than the registered ones that will race or will everyone be going to the Ohio shootout

I know 20+ people from North and South Carolina alone that are going to the Showdown, including me. There is about 4 or 5 of us planning on racing. We'll all be at TT on Saturday and then E-town on Sunday. Most of us will be staying at the Comfort Inn, but a few are staying at the Merriot. Hope to see all you guys there.
 
There will definitely be a large spectator turnout. Nobody should feel odd that they're just coming to watch instead of race; I suspect I'll pay my $30 to be in a bracket class just so I can make a few tuning passes, but I'm really there to see everyone and cheer on some friends. :)

Pretty much everyone I know from the Philly area is going to this, not Ohio.
 
This sounds great at first I was a little upset thinking everyone will be in Ohio, but now I see it will be good timeeee and I cant wait to see some more dsms.....they are so rare these days and specially where I live, but Ill see you guys down there.
 
car is almost done at dogbox so I will def be making it there on sunday....cant do saturday as I have to work nightshift friday night:( But I will be there supporting Boost Boyz + Girlz racing! Hey I need a couple t-shirts you guys left MIR before I could Get them from you last time!

Great, I can't wait. starting to prepare food for the bbq, 50lbs of ribs, 50lbs of chicken, and 40lbs of beef, then 4 different sides. :D
 
I'm not gonna be able to sleep the night before. I'm so excited I can't think about anything else.
