That works for me. Make sure you have some oil and anti freeze too. We will loose some during the swap.

thats what i figured. will have that too. heh i guess i should call for directions huh?

Just call me tomarrow or sometime saturday before you come. My house can be tricky to find, so I'll probably meet you somewhere and direct you to the house.

We can hook up your boost guage if you want too. We will need some wire, male/female connectors, rubber hose because the plastic line kinks really easy, and that T fitting. Ive never hooked up a oil pressure guage before so that will be new to me.

Do you just want to change your oil while we are at it? I think its a good idea. I have coolant so dont worry. Im going to bed, I have class in 7 hours.

Does anyone know where to get a GREY dual full apillar gauge pod??? Also, Im selling my Carbon Fiber A/F gauge if anyone is interested... oh, and also my tripple gauge pod holder.

LOL i have class in 10 minutes. Yeah lets just change the oil while we are there. it needs it anyways.
I think most sites that sell gauges have the dual pod with grey option
Eclipse / Talon | 2 pod / full pillar | '95-'99 | Picture | $39.99
Color: Unpainted - Black Med Gray - + 7.99 Tan - + 7.99

How much do you want for that gauge? ....I'd rather get an EGT gauge but i'm kinda broke and hate staring at that empty socket in my pod, haha

Original is $60 from summit. I was looking for $40. Its in perfect condition.. all the lines are attached and original length. PM me or call me @ 775.287.2848 if you are interested.

Nick I got your message but I could get your phone number because one of our phones was cutting out really bad. We are still on for the morning, just give me a call on my cell when you are coming into carson. Im dropping my talon off at the Chrysler dealership around 8 to get a diagnostic done and maybe a compression test of its bad. Im keeping my fingers crossed.

Well i was wondering if anyone knows where i could find or at least look for the following:
1) 7 piece Talon WRC body-kit.
2)17" sacchi model 240 S4 wheels
3) continental negotiator (tires)

I'm trying to find these in our area so i dont have to order them off-line and also for as inexpensive as possible for quality parts. If any of you have any ideas i would be very appreciative. :thumb:

I dont think that is possible. If you want quality, you have to pay.

Also, I doubt anyone here, maybe besides summit, distributes parts like that. Your best bet would be online. Good luck.

My engine is toast! Wohoo! Time for a 6 bolt swap...

Sux.. are you keeping the Talon then?

Sorry I didn't call you back last night.. I just got so busy and I'll be busy all day today as well. :( School is almost out tho... one more day... OMG

How'd yesterday go?

I guess I am keeping it.

Yesterday went great execpt we dont have a 1g style oil return line to finish the car.

SUCCESS! We finished Nick's car and its running sweet. We ended up making our own oil return line until he can get a 1g style. That car sounds sooo good too.

Ryan when are you going to tell me what size turbo you put on? I mean you had a 50 trim, what more could you ask for?

O wow.. do oil return lines really cost $86.... geez. I remeber the 2g one being like 20 at the most... whats so special about these?

Look for them at AGP turbo. I heard they make the best. I do know of a place in Reno that will probably make a good return line. If you want to know the name or where it is, let me know.

I offically own a honda now. 88 civic dx to be exact. I bought it off the original owner, its way sweet.
