well you dont have to get all worked up about it, i think its pretty much okay to not be comfortable to take apart my only means of transportation and barely know what im doing, i mean i have read write ups on it, but it never goes the way as planned, i think it might be too much for me to change t belt. at least unless i have someone there that knows what theyre doing

whos getting worked up? a timing belt job is easy. if oyu want to pay someone to do it go for it.

the best way to learn is rip into the car...

...i didnt know how to do clutches timing belts until i did my motor swap...and through the process i asked questions on how to....not who do i take it to...nobody is riding your case...most people here like to do there own work...go to vfaq.com and read read read...

i dont know if the rx is for sale, i think he wants to keep it for now, neither of the turbos work, i drove, it runs like but i dono he'll probably want to keep for a while untill he realizes that he cant do anything to it. timing belt wise: ive been reading a lot about changing it anyways, and im thinking that im getting to know it a lot better, but id still feel sketchy. i would definately do it if someone was there to answer questions for me while i was doing it. that would be cool, seems like a weekend project kind of thing. i know it costs way too much to take it somewhere

Just do it yourself. If you break something, who cares? You WILL learn from it. There's no better way to learn.

Haha.. but this is a timing belt. I wouldn't want to ''learn'' by bending my valves and messing up my pistons. I do agree with you though, just not in this case.
