I'd take the 1g. Maybe I'm biased.

Do it and dont think twice. 1g's are so much more fun to drive. The 1g really seems to put the power out there even in stock form versus a 2g.

2g's look good no doubt but 1g's with a nice front mount look good they are fun to drive and awd is way more fun that fwd. I promise you that. Just keep it clean and it'll look good.
that's a subtle way of saying don't do the altezza thing the second time around.

.Hmmmm crap. I wonder if GSX's are going the way of the Supras now....

Is that a bad thing, besides prices of them going way up and what caused Supra's value to skyrocket?
I'm not buying or selling anything, just asking an opinion. Now I found what it looks like to be a decent 1999 silver GSX for sale not too far from me. The guy selling it is the second owner and is selling it for an asking price of $16,000 because he needs the mony for a down payment on a house. he got it a year after it came out from a guy who a $80,000 year paycut. The original owner had several cars and needed to sell one of them, he had a supra, mr2, and rx-7 I think. he used it for back and furth driving to work. One recall was done that was needed to be on the control arm 2 years ago. The car now has 47,200 miles on it. He sayed the condition of the car is showroom condition and everything functions correctly and oil was changed every 3,000 miles but the timing belt never replaced. Plugs and wires replaced 2 years ago, new tires and brakes about 800 miles ago. And there is a minor scratch on the drivers seat of the all black interior from a comb that was in the original owners pocket. he said that he was a detailer and that he had put 10-12 coats of paint sealant on the car. Now anyone can say anything but I'm gonna go check it out in person. From what he said does this sound like a good deal?
