umm... just an fyi.. i would never buy any cars without a test drive. good luck with your test ride thing. let me know how that BS pans out. HIDING something?

well i had some crash a car i was letting them test drive and it f%$ked me hard so there is your answer i got no money a totaled car and high ass insuranse! if it was a mature person sure drive away but that is to stear the punk a$$ kids away from trying to beat on my car! notttin to hide car is pretty flawless!

Since I recently joined the military which requires me to move alot and my parents moving out of state. I am in a need to sell my cars :cry:
As of right now the car is not running due to the fact that is squirting oil out one of the turbo lines. The car has like 114,xxx miles on it. Ported head plus all the mods in my profile. It is tune with e85 thanks to a member in here. So what you think? No part outs or anything. Im just wondering if you guys can give me a number on where I should post it on craigslist.
This sucks..
 
There are pictures on the gallery. It looks excatly like yours. Except my fender has a dent on it.
 
k so i have a 90 laser rs with some exhuast that the body is in pretty rough shape buy runs amazing and hasnt had any trouble since i've had it and i wanna sell it with a 91 laser rs with no engine or trans but the body is straight as an arrow what would be a good asking price for both.. thanks

reason for selling is because i want a tsi or gsx awd
 
I paid 1500 for a turbo fwd that was in great shape a few years back. I didnt have a problem with it one time.

it had 139 on chassis. maybe that will help
 
Quite honestly i would say 1500 for both. Especially if there not turboed.

Good idea to upgrade to a 4g63 based model :]
 
So here's the deal I just finished building the motor and what not in this car. Now I need to sell it for a bigger vehicle due to now have three kids. Someone in my area just sold their GS-T 5-speed for 5k, but I was hoping to get 6.5k for a '99 GSX Automatic. I have 112k on the odo.

Mods are:

Block has Evo III crank and rods, Topline 8:1 .20 pistons, Sealed Power bearings and rings, BSEK.
2G head with Evo VIII valves, springs, retainers, and lifters, and 1G "D/C" cams.
All new timing gear and water pump

Tranny has IPT End Clutch kit, Translab Shift Kit, Tru Cool Tranny cooler, Welded center diff, and new seals on the T-case.

Bolt-ons are Hard intake piping with Cold Air Box, S16G, Evo III Exhaust/O2, 3" Dejon turboback with Magnaflow Race Muffler and Highflow cat, Evo VIII FMIC with 2.5" short route piping and 1G BOV, SBR intake spacer, and rewired Evo VIII fuel pump.

Currently using 450cc injectors but have Evo 560cc injectors ready to drop in and a spare 60mm throttlebody with brand new seals.

I made a custom front bumper for it(filled the side markers, sealed the fog lights, Opened the mouth and gave it a lip), Motegi FF5 rims, and RDR polished door handles on it. The paint however is fading. I'm not sure what the price difference would be with fresh paint or not. On the inside I have a Autometer Phantom 30/30 gauge, Turbonetics in cab boost controller, and HKS Turbo Timer.

What's a good price for it?

What's the body like? Interior? if that's all good then I would say $6.5K would be a good price down in the states. Here in Saskatchewan, your car could go for $10K.
 
1998 gsx with 85k miles. Motor has roughly 10k miles on the bottom end. I had bearing rod and main bearings done over the winter while the engine was out.

Well to be honest the only thing that can really be said is that you won't get even close to what you have put into it unless you find someone that is willing to pay for such a heavily modded car like that, because a dealership would only give you what the blue book is if even that out of it. May I ask why you are asking this question?
 
If you don't mind killing a dsm. A part out is your best bet to get more money out of it. But if you hit the junk yards and put the car back to stock or close to it then you could make money on that too. You will never get 25,000 for it. part it out:cry:
 
Short answer, kbb value.

Part it out. You can make back half of what you put into it. Maybe more depending on how patient you are when it comes to waiting for buyers to pay what you ask for.

yea that was the email from the guy LOL he said 9500

im going to offer 8 and hopefully meet in the middle somewhere. but 95 is not a bad price i dont think either.
there is some more stuff not listed, its a really clean car and runs high 9's, like 800 awhp

now what do you think???
