Hey just some advice, plan a budget, when you have lots of money to spend you can end up blowing it on crap and wonde where the hell it all went. Make sure you shop around fo the best deal but also make sure there a tustworthy seller.

I would do more engine work... get the 16g turbo, fuel upgrades, suspension, dsmlink, brakes, etc. I would spend more on the engine then brakes and suspension. You can get decent suspension and brakes for a good price too.

I agree, spend the majority of the money on the engine build first, then start looking into the suspension/interior mods.

if you spend any money pick up dsmlink and an eprom ecu. you'll love yourself for it. with the idea of a 16g.. i'd say research before you pick a turbo upgrade to best match your type of driving. Since you do have alot of extra money, fortifying the motor will be a very smart idea in the long run.

good luck keep us posted.

I'm confused. What do you want to spend the $3000 on? Do you want to go fast? Fast street car? Show car? or what? You could easily blow $2000 on FPs 3052 turbo and the other $1000 on other supporting mods that you need for the big turbo... because springs, seats and a built engine won't even be on my list of things to get.

"-Tanabe 3" exhaust -3" Cat Back -3" down pipe -Greddy Upper and Lower Intercooler Piping -Greddy Type S Blow Off Valve -T-28 -8.5 Magnacore Plug Wires -Injen Intake with custom chrome heat shield -Denso Iridium Spark Plugs -Quafie Center Dif and Rear Dif "

You can buy soooo much stuff for $3000 that you don't have on your current mod list above. Just check the upgrade guide and start picking parts.

Just giving you my honest opinion, if you plan to keep your T28, you can get some bigger injectors, fuel pump, SAFC, logger, bigger side mount intercooler, FPs 17psi actuator and increase the boost for more power.

BTW - Why do you have a street racing clip on your 60' video on your profile?

Thanks 2GAWDTalon!! Exactly what I wanted! Perfect! and thanks for the PM!

and Dgajre777..... I have a little bit of both worlds... show and power... I want an even balance. Now I want better products, whether it be race or show... upgrades of what I already have or new products... which is why I gave examples of what I'm basically looking for. I know my options and the variety of things I can get... but I am not sure exactly what I wanted, that's why I asked you lovely people here at DSM tuners for your opinions....

...and I have that racing clip on my 60' spot cause I don't have a slip of my 60' on that particular race and it was by far my best. The car that lost was twin turbo supra... with mild mods but supposedly pushing 400hp... I was proud of it, especially because I had my T too small on when I raced him. I apologize for the confusion.

I do like the idea of building my engine... that was what I was leaning towards to begin with... so I have a strong base....

If you decide against the milano's I have the all black sparco torinos just sitting around
if you wanted to buy them:thumb:

You don't need to build an engine, the 4g63 makes enough power stock - More than your T28 can put out. If you want a turbo upgrade look at an EVO III 16G or a 50trim. If you don't want a turbo upgrade you can do many other things - like FPs actuator, fuel pump, injectors, cams, intake manifold, fuel control, logger, clutch, nitrous, etc.

Thats kind of like saying should I get a Snikers or a Sledge hammer. Well if im hungry I should get the snickers, but if I plan on busting up some cement I should get the sledge.... What are your goals with your car? Without that info its kind of hard to give any good advice as to what path you should take for upgrading.

I would say definately go with the exhaust. Hard to tell since you don't list any current mods in your profile though. No need for a fmic until you have a bigger turbo. Exhaust will give some gains as well as be more than sufficient if you decide to upgrade turbo down the road. You gotta say what you have already. If you have no other upgrades than there is no point for a warlboro pump. Add your mods and goals and then follow the upgrade path.

a downpipe i feel gave me the most bang for my buck after free mods. I already had a 2.5in catback on there. exhaust first. upgrade path.

Go with the exhaust. It will give you some power and it will sound cooler.

Well im getting ready to drop $1,500 or so down on upgrading to the next level. I am currently getting fuel cut or knock (not sure?) at 15psi on my big 16g with stock fuel system. I've been reading up for awhile now and decided on DSMlink, PTE 680cc injectors, walbro 190lph pump, after that i'll have about $500 to spend on extra's. What supporting mods should i spend my money on, or should it be spent on getting a tune from a professional shop? I have never tuned a car before, so im not sure if i could do it or not. My goals are to complete the stage 1 & 2 upgrades, and be a daily driver that i take to the track on occasion.

Since you are getting DSMLink you might as well go with the bigger injectors, because the price difference between the them isnt much. So I would say either PTE 1000cc's or FIC 950's.You also should think about getting a 255 and AFPR.

After all this you might about $300-$400 left. Don't waste it on someone tuning your car. I am pretty sure you can find someone on these boards or your local forums that have DSMLink, and help you give a good tune.

If you don't have a clutch, I would go that route. If not you should be able to grab one of those FMIC of ebay.

Good luck, getting your mods... Stay boostin:thumb: :thumb:

Paypal me the money :D :D ROFL

No really just make sure you take care of all the maintance, then mod away.

Decide whether you want to stay mitsubishi or t3 housing. I would say go with t3 since you do have a 10K bugget. Def get all the air mods: intake, filter, bov, exhaust, mani, fmic. Then get all your fuel mods: injectors, pump, regulator, and some way of tuning it. Then smim, cams, there so much :D Then finally pick the turbo of your choice.

Have fun modding, stay boostin
