Boost guage (aftermarket since the stock one is very inaccurate)
MBC($$$ depends on where you get it from)
NGK BPR7es plugs>>>$2.00 each (roughly)
eBAY turbo-back exhaust or custom weld one (both would be cheap)
If you dont have emmisions do a cat-delete
Port the 14B>>>free
A nice free mod is to clean your IC>>> http://www.vfaq.com/mods/wayback/BradBauer/misc/cooler.html
Also you can check this out>>> http://www.dsmtuners.com/sub.php?page=2gtstage1power
EDIT: Also if you have any cash left over from what I recommended, I would custom weld Hard IC piping to replace those crappy rubber pieces.
EDITed again because Im retarded, and running on no sleep

For running the 255, where the heck is the FPR?!blackbyrd said:Not bad, 575$ for the kit. But if you add FIC 650 that's 60 additional dollars. Then the 255 is 5 extra bucks..
So 640$ for your fuel setup..
Here's how I'd break it down otherwise..
Fuel injectors 650, 250$
255 Walboro, 90$
SAFC, 250$
590$
Even if i'm off 50$ somehow it'd stil would be the same price.. Guess it isnt that great of a deal. It's up to you man, I'm just giving you food for thought. Don't get this just because you think it's a really great deal.. I still suggest my previous posts.
FIC 650, 250$
255 or 190 Walboro, 90$
Keydriver chip, 90$
430$

I also am using an Apexi S-AFC II for fuel management. I think if you're keeping it around the 350hp mark like I am currently you would be fine with these things. But when you do go to get the 16G Make sure you port the 02 Housing, the Turbo Inlet and get a 34mm flapper door put on that thing or it will creep like a son of a bi***. I had Forced Performance do mine and it works great.
Just joking! Just make sure to do alot of basic maintenance (replace all hoses, belts (timing), oil, coolant, etc.) and make sure that you are good at diagnosing electrical problems. Also, a wideband is a MUST for tuning unless you like blowing up engines.flinguist said:Get one of those EBAY FMIC kits. You can pick one up for around 200 bucks, it'll help you keep from having knock problems, so you can crank up the boost!
sonicnofadz said:Be very careful with these kits. You get what you pay for. The cores are cheaply manufactured, prone to cracking, heavy, fins bend easily, and have major fitment problems.
PieEyedPiper said:Clearly, this tuner has not seen the bazillion page thread about how awesome the xs power fmic kit is.
sonicnofadz said:No I haven't, but could you post a link to it? There has been a feuding debate on that core's performance over on the evolutionm.net forums. I'll try searching for it! Thanks!
I was thinking exhaust but I'm not positive yet. I do know a muffler shop that can build a custom one for about that price though. I'm just not sure I wanna spend $300 on something that's probably gonna give me barely any gain in power. Any other ideas/opinions?
