Yeah, and when did you buddy get his manifold? Because, they've revised there original design and added supports to all the flanges, and use thicker steal. They are not as prone to cracking. Mine hasnt cracked in a couple thousand miles, and I know pleanty of people who are running them, no problem.
And I'm not sure about slimline for the A/C.. The EVO may be a little too large for the stock A/C fan. Have to do some reasearch. But I've heard of cheap slimlines melting, and not flowing as well as a stock.
And where can you get a set of 660 injectors, 190fuel pump, and an SAFC for 500?
If you want it all now and dont have the extra cash for a dsmlink, then I'd recommend getting a Keydriver chip for 100, and waiting til you have enough money for DSMLink. You'll want it sooner or later trust me.

never the less it cracked and i bought it off of ebay.
, hell i bought my car off of ebay , it runs right only half the time.
thats it, but it makes up for how much they know about DSM's. They also have very good prices on labor and what not
