I'd say work on your launches, get some tunning done, and you should be close to 11's.

Your post wasn't the one that i questioned I just reiterated that I said before that I hadn't seen any pure water & nitrous setups out there. I have heard of people doing what your brother does and think it works well from the numbers those setups seem to put up. It's the suspension mods that I doubt being able to decrease times not water nitrous or any variation of mixtures.
. anyways using nitrious plus alky injection lowers the coolant temps so low that you wouldnt even need to put that fmic on. the combo has been working so well for him that he hasnt even thought about buying one. i dunno how he does it but he sees 24psi daily on a stock side mount and alky injection with like only 2 degrees of timing pulled on his dsm link at 8k.Slippi84 said:Ok I am not disputing the benefit or suspension parts but like you said the original poster asked for suggestions but on how to go from 12's to 11's. Do you believe that suspension work would take him from 12's to 11's and do it the most cost effective way for this guy cause just by lookin at his mods he isn't rolin in cash just like the rest of us.
I am not arguing either, its just that so many people are worried about "running 10's when they havent even run 12's yet", and any DSMer running in the 11/10's, they will tell you that suspension is a key factor in having a strong 11 sec car, but yeah, he did say he is trying to get from 12 to 11, so yeah, he could just practice, and that will get him there. He is open for suggestions....gurmanator said:I would spend the money on engine parts...17's dont look very good on a car that doesnt run.

SinaiTSi $300 should be plenty for all of that and then give you a little bit to spare said:Well, I'd put it away for those just in case moments, I've got one of those funds goin, peace of mind is great. If you were to get something though, I'd go grab a pocketlogger.
