go with dsmlink, 560's out of an EVO VIII, and a walbro 190. that's the most economical solution. you could go the logger/afc route for tuning, but you will probably want more at some point and buying stuff twice sucks.
dsmlink- 615
evo 560's-50 (used)
walbro- 110
total- $775
that leaves enough for an evo III 16g if you do some shopping around.

Hey point me where I can get 560 evo injectors for my car for $50 used. If you can Ill name my first born after you :D .
Andrew

ps I thought the stock evo used 510cc

out of curiosity why did you go 3" dp then 2.5" catback?
oh, and consider adding a test pipe or high-flow cat to the list

first of all, an EGT is NOT a waste of money!! it is not really a "tuning device" as some put it, but it IS a good safety measure. it is possible to have good timing, a *safe* AFR, and still melt stuff if you don't have one.
2nd, you can put 1000cc injectors in with your stock t-25 and have it idle and run perfectly fine.....that's one of the advantages of an embedded system (dsmlink) over a piggy back (afc). and yes, you should put it in right away and start learning it.....even before you have any of the other stuff you mentioned. plus, their is more power to be had out of a bone stock DSM with a little fuel tuning, so you'll gain something.
3rd, just ask around at the track for the evo injectors. i just hit up all the local evo guys until i found what i wanted. you can also check on some of the evo forums....not sure of any offhand, but a little searching should yeild something. and they are 560's.

I plan on upgrading the IC later on to a nice size greddy unit but for now I am pretty confident that the sidemount will do.

The reason I went with the 3" dp is I found a full cat-back eliminator(no need for test pipe or high flow cat) polished s/s mandrel bent dp on Ebay for 150 including shipping. Ya I know and it was brand new, check out my post on the reveiw of this dp.

I bought a muffler off of ebay and my exhaust shop said they couldnt run 3", (I plan on getting a full 3" catback later on and now I wont have to upgrade the dp as well.

Also I have been looking at some used big 16G for around $400, and I may go that route but the BigT28 is still in the running.

As soon as I can find a laptop for the right price I will most likely send my ecu out and get it socketed for the dsmlink.

Question about the AFPR, some say I will need one with the larger injectors and some say the stock will be fine for now???

Thanks for all the help I dont know what I would do without tuners to fall back on. :thumb:

the AFPR is more for the fuel pump than the injectors. a larger pump will overrun the stock FPR. if you go with a 190lph you don't *have* to get an AFPR. if you get a 255lph, then you will. i would go 190lph if i were you....it's all that 90% of DSM'ers need.

THE set up to get with your budget, in my opinion, would be the DSMLink (of courseLOL, 650cc injectors from extreme PSI for 309 shipped (top of page specials), the walbro 255 pump for $90, and a bolt on AFPR from Dejon Tool for $150 shipped (don't order it from full throttle speed, they have horrible customer service). I recommend this set up from experience because you can use this now with your t25, with your t28, or with a 50 trim, T3/T4, 20G, what ever you decide to upgrade to later on in life when the t28 just doesn't do it for you anymore.

I personally have all of those installed w/ a T25 except for DSMLink; I'm running an DSMchips stage 3 chip w/ fuel compensation for 650s instead which can be a nice temperary fix(at $125) if you don't want to shell out the money for DSMlink just yet. I wanted to get the injectors and new ECU installed before the turbo upgrade so I can work with one upgrade at a time. The fuel compensation from the chip and the adjustibility of the AFPR let me get it pretty well tuned with out any sort of piggy back device. I have a MAFT that I'm putting on next, then the turbo last. It's EXTREMLY hard to do upgrades this way because you don't get the pay off until the end with the turbo upgrade. I speant $1000 for all fuel mods, a 95ecu, and dsmchip... that just sucks when it's all in and doesn't feel any faster :D

Okay I wanting to order a cat-back real soon like maybe this weekend but anyways would you guys get a Apexi N1 or a HKS Hiper Exhaust System then ill maybe have like 200 should i get a downpipe or a BOV ? :dsm:

I would get a full 3" turboback from RNR, they are on sale right now you can get an O2 eliminator system with a Hi- flow cat for about 725. What other mods do you have? I would spend the extra money you have and get an EVO III exhaust manifold, you can find them within your price range if you look hard enough.

Good luck

I dont have any mods right now I just bought rims and its getting paintjob right now and when i bought it needed some new parts like timing belt 2 bent valves new head gasket timing belt tensioner some other things and like next week I have to get the transmission serviced and prolly a new tansmission mount so pretty wont have extra to spend till next month :( so the question was between the 2 exhaust and either a downpipe or a bov :thumb:

Im thinking in like a month after I get some more $$$ I will get Apexi N1 then the Apexi downpipe and maybe some headers ... that sound good for first performance mods? :thumb:

is that what u guys would get for first mods ...cuz if i do then i gotta wait like 2 more months if i buy that stuff to get a system

first of all if you think putting headers( you meant tubular manifolds right???) is a good beginning mod then you are not researching hard enough, the stock 2g manifold can flow plenty of enough horsepower for the mods you will be adding to your car. listen to those guys and get the rnr exhaust, apexi is nice but way overpriced and on our cars the rnr sounds more throaty and not ricey. then get a boost gauge, controller, and a intake, oh yah and upgrade your fuel pump, that should set you back right around 900

dude i mean u guys can tell im new at this stuff im not gonna lie but will u tell what types of intake / boost gauge..and everything u mentioned...yes i was talking bout exhaust manifold ;) ooo any of u guys have any pictures of a rnr exhaust? ooo how am i supposed to get all that for 900 considering the rnr exhaust on there site was 785

If you order now, it's $499 for a turbo back exhaust. The link for RNR was given above. The sale is good for this month only though.

okay here goes a dumb question but 1g = 90-94? 2g = 95-99 cuz i have a 97 eclipse gsx
