Just trying to get a BASIC tune on my car so it is at least driveable. Mods in profile

I set the base injector latency and injector scaling as per denso's specs and ceddy's website.

WOT is pretty good, I set all load over 100 to 10.5 and my AFR is reading 10.3-10.7 at WOT

Idle is a different story. Whether it is in closed OR open loop I idle at over 18:1. But this is ONLY after driving it for a bit, if I start it cold it will idle anywhere from 12:1 to 17:1. The car idle surges from 500-800 during idle and just does not sound good at all. No exhaust leaks, I have checked and fixed all of them.

o2 is NOT cycling at all, once in like 3 minutes it will go from 0 to 0.1v. Ceddy says that means my base settings are off, but they're exactly what is posted on his site.

I am not sure what to change, or by how much.
Any suggestions?

Well, what gets me is that when its cold the AFR is not bad, only when its warm.

Also, if it's too lean (17:1) at idle after it's warm, would that mean that the dead times need to be increased or decreased?

I have been following that guide, but I don't want to let the car idle for 16 minutes at over 18:1 AFR. Thanks for the answer to my question though, I will go adjust it some and then let it idle for a bit with some better AFR's.

For a spitball tune you can use STFTs instead of waiting for an LTFT to pop up, just to get it in the ballpark.

Have you changed any of the perpriatary bits?
I ran into this issue when I changed 1 set of them for egr once the car got a little heat it idled very lean so checking into that... It was in the 272 bits that gave me trouble, believe thats the set that controls the functions

I think I may need an new o2, not sure if that is the problem, but I get the code that says something like "
too much time to enter in to closed loop" or something of that sort.
