temperature affecting boost leak?

when i start my car it wants to stall so i have to give it gas for about a minute.... then i have to let it warm up all the way because if i dont and i go to boost it will boost alot hiher than it normally would ( im set at 10 and it will go to 12 and give me fuel cut)

no CEL
throttle body is clean
clamps are tight

what places would the temperature be affecting lboost leak?

sounds like you have a vacuum leak if your car is stalling out when you start it up. Did you do a boost leak test?

Check the TB and intake manifold for leaks.

the only vac lines i can see are the three on top of the throttle body and the one from th bov to the intake... i cant seem to affect the idle with carb clean in that area but then again in order to keep the car running it has to warm up so how can i check vac. leaks when they are only present when cold?.... they seem like kind of old vac lines though...

there are at least 3 ports on your intake manifold that need to be plugged or connected.


You can use a boost leak test to check for a vacuum leaks. Is the principle in check for leaks. Apply air pressure to the intake of the turbo, with the MAS off and intake off. The charged air side should stay at a certain PSI. If you hear air seeping out or if your boost leak tester has a pressure gauge and its dropping, then you have a leak.

There is one to your brake booster - check that for leaks

There is two one the opposite side of the brake booster nipple, that are two barb fittings. I cleaned my emission/vacuum lines along time ago so I dont remember what they went to exactly.
