I have seen many people running a recirculated turbo xs rfl on youtube just like me. Mine is not nearly as loud. I am running an ebay filter and all these people on youtube are running k n. I am not too worried about the quietness, i am more worried that it may be very restrictive. I am hitting FULL boost in 2nd gear at 4000 rpm. If it is affecting the sound of the bov i imagine it is affecting the flow. I HAVE A HARD INTAKE ALONG WITH A FMIC WITH 2.5INCH ALUMINUM HARD PIPING.

How much boost? I really wouldnt be concerned, unless it sounds like its "fluttering" on release, which is indicative of compressor surge due to either boost leaks or a bov thats adusted too tightly and cannot open fast enough or far enough...

The XS RFL is notorious for not keeping a seal, I use to run one back in the day when it was cool just making a lot of noise. I’d be more concerned about getting a decent BOV.

believe me i know. I am not worried about the sound... i am more worried that it may be too restrictive. I am getting a little flutter but i think it is because it is recirculated. It is leaking around 10 psi around the cylinder. it only flutters at very low psi. I would like to get another bov but i already welded the turbo xs flange on the intercooler piping.

only 11 psi.. like i said i already have the rfl flange welded on my piping and its my daily so i cant cut the rfl flange off because i need to drive the car. i will be considering getting one when i dont need to drive my car to school everyday. I am going to see if i can find some sort of solution. i think i will do a quick drive sithout a filter to see if i notice a difference..
