k&n filter changes sound of bov?

i just installed a k&n filter today and now my bov (1g) doesn't shriek like it normally did, now it just sounds like a big whoosh of air (kind of like the turbo xs) is that normal or did i just not put something back on right. also i have a rre hard intake pipe and the bov dump tube is NOT cut.

Its because you can hear it better through the open element rather then the plastic box that drowns out the noise. This is normal

thats good, just making sure i didn screw something up. that filter also makes the turbo sound awsome.

Yea when i put my K&N on it made my turbo sound ALOT louder. Its nice now

You get a quicker spool time(not like it matters with the T25) as well which is always good.
