Will the temp sensor on a gst cause them to run extremely rich as it will on some cars?thx

Forgot to add lasnight that the adjustment screw in the tb is leakin boost like hell to...
No leaks goin to the intake just all over the intake LOL.

The factory maps are rich under boost, in the area of 10:1 or so but leaks in your intake will cause the AFR to be even more rich since air will be counted by the MAF, fuel added by the ECU to match, and then the air never reaches the cylinders but the fuel does.

Does the Coolant Temp Sensor effect the cars drivability AFTER the car is warmed up, or does it only effect the car during start up?

When the car gets hot, and the ECU can't see the Coolant Temp, does the ECU try to guess? Causing the car to run weird?

The Coolant Temp Sensors is one of the primary input monitors for all EFI controlled engine system & their running conditions all the time. If it's not reading right (or bad) it can throw everything off. It is always watched by the ECU, open loop/closed loop, hot/cold, idle/boost, doesn't t matter.

Got so busy i missed a few post, i was just about to ask how rich do they run stock at wot on a wideband, you just answered that....
SO UPDATE IS.. got it at 10:1 so guess its right now. Had to run cross state for them dam injector insulators got them on lastnight.
well 10.1 is way to rich,11.3 feels like a 40+ hp increase alone, but at 10.1 it doesn't buck anymore so problem SOLVED. IF YOUR inj turn easily in the rail change the seals....

Also mello is correct,i knew alot of vehicles were controlled based on ets but wasnt sure about the dsms. Thx mello for the input.

RESOLVED... installed 99 gsx ecu 359403, plug and go. Passed after 8 mile drive. I had looked many places to see if it would need programming to my 98gst but never an answer.
IT WILL PLUG AN DRIVE, NO PROGRAM NEEDED.
