so far I'm getting pistons and rings, rods, oem mains, 4 new oil squirters, new crush washers

new front case(with 2 gears, gaskets, and seals, and new castle plug and oring.

trying to find a bolt kit for the front case too.

oil pan sealer and red loctite, BSE kit, oil pan bolts, oil pan strainer and gasket, and bolts, rear main seal(gasket part)

so am I good or did I miss something.

Everything Needed
Block, Crank, Main Bearings, Main studs/bolts, rods, pistons, rod bearings, piston rings, "Gasket set", oil pump, Oil pump housing(front case), Oil filter housing front mount or side you choose, Water pipe, Rear seal housing, timing mounts/Motor mount brace, Timing Tensioner, All assorted sensors(crank, knock, water, oil) oil pan, oil pick up, PS mount, alt mount arm, head studs, pulleys & Gears, damper , water pump, All assorted bolts and nut. If you got it all you have a short block ready.
You will need red, green, blue loctite as well as a decent anaerobic sealant( loc-tite 587), High temp RTV silicon sealant.
Oh almost forgot the starter plate and dust cover/ and lower timing cover.

Use those instead of the oil pan bolts and you'll never worry about stripping an oil pan thread. Also If you buy the "gasket set" throw away the oil pan gasket and use grey RTV.

You don't need a bolt kit for anything other than the head bolts if you're using stock 7 bolt stuff. I'd get a set of ARP head studs just incase you have to take it apart then you're not throwing away a set of torque to yield bolts.

As far as a short block rebuild goes you're on the right path. Why a new oil pick up? Clean out your old one and use it.
