So on a local forum a guy recently discovered his recently purchased "13G" turbo was stamped TDO4HL instead of the normal TDO4. This sent several of the members scurrying to find out exactly what this new turbo was. From searching here on Tuners I came up with a couple interesting threads and discussions, but nothing conclusive. Thoughts ranged from "its a 13g from a JDM 4G63", "its a 15G" and "its a volvo turbo". Then I went out and looked at the turbo on my 93 Laser RS-T A/T and realized I also have a TDO4HL. This past weekend I picked up some parts for helping a guy swap engines and among the parts was a typical 13g with the TDO4 housing. So I snapped some pics to compare the two. And even measured them (unfortunately with a tape measure, since I don't have a caliper). The crude measurements and appearances were identical...Anybody have anymore insight? If possible I would love for those with 13G's on their cars to list their year, make and model, and which compressor housing they have.
