td05 to td06

what needs to be done to fit a tdo6 turbine wheel in a td05 turbine housing? Right now I have a big 16g and im getting a td06 cover and comp wheel used for cheap so I would be able to make it a td06 20g for cheap.

I would just sell your turbo and buy the one you want instead of trying to piece together a turbo.

its done all the time theres nothing wrong with making your own custom turbo

By the time you'd buy the TD06/06H turbine, pay to have the turbine housing machined, pay to have the rotating assembly balanced, and buy a parts kit for the turbo, you're looking at over $400.

You can run a 20G compressor on a TD05H turbine without any problems. This is actually the most desirable setup for a street car under 25psi looking for a little more juice than what a 16G can provide without adding too much lag. The TD06/06H turbine will add about 300-400rpms of lag to your spool time.
