td05 to td06

I just bought a TD05 exhaust housing from bullseye to use with my 14b and eventually my 16g. My question is is there anyway to get it machined to fit a td06 wheel. Would it be to much work? This is if i ever decide on soemthing bigger than a 16g

I might be wrong but i believe the tdo5 and tdo6 turbine wheels are the same size diamiter. They just have different angles and stuff on the blades. So they should both be able to work with the same turbine housing.

WHat I was skeptical about was the fact that the compressor housing on a td05 20g is different from the td06 20g. td05 is similar to a 16g on the outside

From my understanding, the TD06 and 6h wheels are different diameters from the TD05h. And therefore youneed machining. If you swap a wheel you have to send it off to be balanced with respect to the other wheel anyway. So when you decide to swap, just call up your favorite turbo shop and ask them what needs to be done with the turbine housing. I reccomend FP or SBR or Bullseye (who made your housing in the first place).
