A friend of mine just had a JDM motor put into his 1g. I was checking out the turbo and it said "TD04" on the comp housing. I asked him about the turbo and he said that they used TD04 houses til 92 then switched to TD05. Im pretty sure this is a 13g because it almost makes my T-25 look big. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

tdo4=13g on a 1st gen as far as i know...but the 13g is better then the t25..so its should make your t25 look...smaller...but there about the same size so you couldnt tell just by looking, but the 13g is better.

the motor your friend has is off a automatic. There are some small differences from the auto to the 5 speed. some of the differences are that first the turbo is a td04h (13g) another is that the injectors are smaller and the sizes of those are 390cc as to the 5 speed ones which are 450cc's. The cams are also different. The 5 speed cams are more aggresive. oh and I also heard that the fpr is different as well.
