I have run NGK wires for 5 years and wasnt asking about them, but thanks for the input.

I have the Taylor 10.4mm and it fixed my ignition/spark issues. Ordered them from extremepsi and they fit perfectly.

spiro-pro or thunderVolt?

I use thundervolt wires on both my 02 focus svt and my 94 ranger 4.0 and the wires are top notch in my opinion. No issues at all, 8mm sets on both.

Very old thread I know but did Taylor fix the length issue with the spiro-pro and thunderVolt wires? I'm looking to upgrade my ignition due to upper rpm issues and spark blow out. So I may be ordering some non projected plugs and thought about getting better wires also.

I know its a few months late but NO they did not fix the length as ive just got my spiro pro set and every wire was alot longer then the oem was so I had to wire it under my fuel rail as its too bulky otherwise, I need to find a better was as I dont like them being all bent under the fuel rail like that

Last week I got a set of Taylor 10.4mm Pro-Race Spiro-Wound wires.
When I took them out of the box they looked to be the perfect length for stock set-up.

In my case this actually worries me a bit because I was planning to use them on a JMF Intake with JMF coil bracket which sits lower than stock. I HOPE they are long enough ...hearing that some of you say they are like 4" longer than stock gives me hope that they'll work. But again they didnt look longer to me.

I'll measure and get back to you later today. Intake should arrive tomorrow, so very soon I'll be able to tell ya if they work for this set-up or not

So take them out and make them to length? Take you maybe 30 min to do.

These 10.4mm Pro Spiro Wound wires are PERFECT "if" you have your coil pack relocated to the back!

For stock location they would suck but for this I couldnt be happier :thumb:

EDIT: ya know looking at that picture I don't think I have my plug wires anywhere near the right order LOL disregard that part

enjoy them while they last. i used mine (10.x mm) for 2 months before they arched & the silicone ripped like toilet paper. good luck, hope this doesn't happen to you

I ran the 10.4mm thundervolt 50 and they did work ok but same damn thing happened to me. Took a little longer then 2 months but they arched. Couldn't figure out why the car kept misfiring. Plugs were good. Took a real good look at the wires and they were burnt inside the shealth from the boot up. If anyone just bought these and haven't run then take them pieces of shit back and just get good ole NGK's
