chtown,
Ok i have a 92 talon awd everything is stock except for kn filter xs bov and a muffler, now the car would act up and not start at all so changed coil packs and module, still no go then figured it was the ecu changed that, and boom it fired right up. But everytime you go to give it a shot of gas there was a bad hesitation then it would come out of it. So checked for boost leaks sure enough there was one got that fixed, and still the same bad hesitation. So un hooked the maf sensor to try another one, well it runs better with the maf unhooked then it does with it hooked up. With it hooked up you start it and it revs right up and dies evereytime, but un hook it and it works really goos still little hesitation but works good. Also no vacume leaks or check engine light coming on (unless i unhook the maft and start it up. What would be goin on here??? Thanks!

i tried one on last night and didnt make a difference unless both are no good??

with the maf unhooked, its running in Limp mode, closed loop, whatever you wanna call it.

id check for leaks, all the usual stuff.

If both didn't make a difference, than it's a wiring issue. The car should run like ass with no maf.

Ok im goin to take teh maf of my laser and try it on because i know it works for sure. SOmeone did have a afc spliced in before so maby one of them wires came loose?? ALso this would not be the ecu after jus treplacing it?? I thought in a dsm either the ecu works or it dont LOL!
