It really depends on how you look at it. 2g mas is more accurate as far as readings. GM maf can be placed in draw through or blow through configuration. GM maf flows a lot better than a 2g. GM translator isn't as easy to tune for some as for others.

I personally have a GM maf and translator, 1000cc's and a chip that compensates for 650cc's. We used the Translator to compensate for the rest and I'm running 19lbs on pump 91 with no driveability issues at all, no matter the weather. I still can cruise at 70-75mph and I'm still high 10's low 11's on the AFR's. It's really not as bad as people say it is, IMO.
