Ok Im getting ready to install my evo MAS and my buddy says he has a Al Blaha 1g mass,which one should I use?

Well, Al's MAS got him in to the 10's, so it works. However, I think the EVO MAF will be more accurate. It has better technology for measuring air flow so you will get better results.

If you'd read the remainder of my response before flapping your gums in the wind, I asked two SIMPLE questions that take your question from a random question into a well thought out, simple question. That said, there has been much discussion over the years about what MAF/MAS to use for particular goals, experiences have been shared, etc.

This was quoted from Wiseman 'Steve" on the forums referring to the 3g MAS which is almost identical to the EVO MAF hope this gives you some percentage on flow

The GOOD 3G MAS to find is the #482, from the Variable-Induction V-6. The #482 V-6 MAS flows so close to an EVO MAS that the 2 could be interchanged, and no one would probably notice. This MAS flows 25% more air for the same Karman Hz as a 2G, and 67% more than a 1G, so you have to add a LOT of air on an AFC.
