420A Talon Stalling (automatic)

my talon has been stalling out sometimes when ill be at a stop light or even a stop sign. its an automatic too. my idle will go real low, then my car will just shut off. some people have told me that it is my throttle body. but i'm not entirely sure. anyone know what this might be?

Unfortunately, it could be a number of things. I have the same car, same trans, and same issue at times. It could be your ISC (idle speed controller). What I would do is remove the ISC and clean it. Also, my BISS likes to turn itself. So I have to adjust it every once and a while.

You could have a small vacuum leak some where. My friend's car the other day kept idling really low and then shutting off and he said that he found that a vacuum hose had popped off.

when it is running, what is your idle speed? you may want to increase it a bit as well as check for vacuum/boost leaks

my idle is sometimes at like 300 to 500. thats when it will stall out

I would think it should be about 500-550 in drive and about 650-750 in park. check for vacuum leaks and try and increase your idle screw

Do you have any modifications done to the car not listed? If you dont have your bov recirculated this could be the cause.

That's for a 1G. He has a 2G. I just turn the screw to adjust my idle. My screw tends to move by itself.
