Automatic Talon. Need upgrade path

Well I wasent blessed with having a 5 speed so im stuck with the automatic.
I read that automatics have smaller injectors (390's) and a 13b turbo.
I just got a 3" turbo back exhaust and the honeycomb removal.
Just got a boost gauge too

Now should I get an ecu from a manual car since the automatic ecu is used to the smaller injectors and turbo?

Im planning on getting a 16g so actually what all should I be planning on getting??

I looked at that already and it gives me a lot of info. I more looking towards peoples opinions

Get DSMlink and you will be good to go for whatever tuning needs you have.... You'll also save money on the ECU you were going to buy, and will be set for all of your future setups.

I too just purchased a 93 auto AWD. I got it because Im into drag racing and its a great platform for that. The stock injectors are 390s and the turbo is a 13G not a B.

Im running a Buschur 20G so if a 16G is what you're wanting to run I'd suggest larger injectors (650-750cc should be plenty), a 2G exhaust manifold ported and 2G 02 housing, 2G MAF, MBC, FMIC, a SAFC and either a chipped ECU (your stock auto ECU is fine) DSMlink, or DSmap. As far as the transmission goes some good synthetic fluid and a bottle of lubeguard, a translab shiftkit, and either a line pressure controller or the "blue wire mod" should be fine.

With a setup like that you should have a fairly quick car that will make decent power.

you also may want to look for a used 4 bolt rearend and axles. And make sure it comes with the cups! Relocate battery to trunk and remove emission stuff if you live in an area where they don't check for it.
