Hello again.
Last week I had finally found time to drop the engine in.Now I planned to do a rough install of the intercooler.Original an was to only mount the core,but realizing how much disassembly of the front end was involved,hell might as well rough the whole thing in.Cutting required.

Clearance is paramount on the long route jobs.basically I was told the core and piping should be able to stay put on the car without putting on a single clamp.It did 2 things for me.It shows me where everything hits,rubs etc.and made configuring my up-pipe easy.

As you can see fog lights are history.
The bumper will be notched from the back side, kiss the bumper support goodbye. I used a 4 inch I think holesaw. Use it in reverse, or it will grab to hard.

Overall so far I'm happy how it went. I've got an idea how a cold air ram system can be built.

What brand is that setup?
Looks like you might be rubbing a lil where it comes through by the fuse block, dont want an annoying squeak or wear a hole in your new pipe
