Talon convert to eclipse gsx

My 2 cents...

Ranked:

1) 2Gb Talon (by a decent margin)

2-4) 2Gb GSX/GST, 2Gb Spyder, 2Ga Talon (all 3 very close)

(another wide margin)

5) Laser
6) 1Gb Talon
7) 1Ga Talon
8) 1Gb Eclipse
9) 1Ga Eclipse
10) any 2Ga Eclipse (I especially despise the two tone paint ones)

When I got my 95 GS-T those bumpers were tore off the next day I can't stand them either. Which was another reason why I did the Talon conversion.

To the open. I have a 96 talon I am about to convert to a gsx. Now if u want ill will drive to your house with the parts I have for the conversion and do it for you if I can have the gb talon parts. The gb talon is the best looking Dsm ever. I prefer a gb eclipse over a GA eclipse or talon though.

I got the High Rise at a Part out for 2 crispy 20$ and some convincing xD

It has a crack... >.< ... I am gonna take it to Donald and haw him fix it for me! I plan to keep it josh! I am doing the Talon Version with a High Rise, unless I decide to go hard and go find a High Talon Wing!

you suck.... Any high rise I've ever found is $80 or more and I have $10 in my pocket at the time . I mean yea I have a highrise on my red one, but I want one for the gray one. maybe someday. And idk about that . The front one isn't in the greatest shape.

Eclipse 2gb bumper, eclipse 2gb sideskits, talon 2gb rear. I think this combo looks the best. I don't like those talon 2gb bumpers. Maybe there is a reason there weren't more of them made, because people didn't want that style and bought eclipses instead.

Was going to convert my gst to a talon, got all the parts except the rear bumper, luckily I never installed them because the car ended up wrecked. So I went and found a talon instead, so much easier than having to paint a bunch of stuff . I'd like to think I saved it from someone else trying to convert it to an eclipse.

A total of 4307 Eagle Talons were made in 98. It was also the last year of production. During production they made four different trims available (base, esi, tsi, and tsi awd). We'd be lucky if diamond star made a 1000 TSI AWD models in 98. Being that your car is a TSI AWD and a 98 makes it super rare.

DO NOT turn that car into an Eclipse! Put 2ga Talon twisty side skirts on it and call it a day.

Yea, but I'm keeping the front bumper as a spare, and I'm not going to deal with shipping the hatch, I'd just sell it locally. Although a guy on from our local group has been trying to trade talon for eclipse parts, here is his Craigslist ad Eagle Talon Rare dsm Body parts

Why not just bondo the holes after removing the hatch, sand it down and paint it... Saves so much $ and time... or go to the Yard and find a hatch with the holes in it already!


Well in the future, if you decide to sell the front bumper <3 I will be waiting... unless I start the conversion soon and find one

That guy has a clean Talon... So sad he is converting it... That Front bumper is black and would look so good on my Eclipse!! Me Want!!!! but he won't part out little pieces... I know this...

I've never seen that combo. Have any pictures? Curious to see how that looks.

I must say... I love the 2gb talons! Especially in the magenta grey pearl, with the stock 17" 2gb talon wheels =yumm. (looking at one that im tryna buy in this exact combo as we speak) but as far as rank, it's tied in my eyes with 2gb eclipse gsx. Especially the combo I have on mine, northstar white, with all black leather..tho my fronts have been replaced with evo9 mr recaros. I'll save the black leathers for my 2gb tsi awd, that ima be purchasing very soon.. Yes!!

I prefer to keep a Talon and an Eclipse seperate and not mix the parts of the two. Uh oh, Im glad were talking about cars otherwise that might sound bad.
