Talon - 2.3 6 Bolt Stroker

This should be an interesting Frankenstein build of sorts, that I hope to fire up this weekend.

I timed it and put attached the tranny this last weekend, hopefully I'll be able to turn the key this coming saturday

The long-block is as follows:
2.3 6 Bolt
Wesico pistons (unknown CR)
6 Bolt rods
MLS HG
Stock 2G Head

All going into a AWD 1g with a stock transmission and a new OE clutch-kit, powered by a 14b at stock boost, .

I have an Apexi N1 Turbo-back to go on it, a fuel lab AFPR kit, a Walbro 255, and some RC550s.... only other thing I need is an Eprom ECU and Ostrich.

Why did you decide to go with Stock rods?

I bought it used from a local member who bought from a guy who wrecked their car (I believe), then ended up short on cash b/c he bought a house, so he sold it to me for cheap.

Was told it was a 6 bolt stroker with Wiseco/Eagle combo, but upon inspection, definitely 1g rods or similar with wiseco pistons.

Otherwise the block looked great (cept it was green), so I figured I'd run it and see what happens. I replaced all gaskets, made sure everything was within spec, replaced the timing components, and cleaned it up real nice. If I get home before it gets dark out, I'll snap a ton of pics.

i actually got a stroker motor myself but its a 7 bolt and that thing pulled on 16 lbs of boost on a 37r turbo also my car was automatic but i converted mine in a different way it was 2.4 crank 2.0 rods and 2.4 pistons so i guess u can call that a 2.5 motor
