T3 hx35 slow spool

So I got rid of my bolt on hx35 setup and moved to the t3 setup. I have the punishment racing t3 manifold, brand new tial 38 mm wastegate which is not recirculated. New bep T3 housing, custom 3" vband downpipe and rebuilt turbo. I used to have full boost by 3200 rpm with bolt on setup and car was OK to drive out of boost. This new setup I don't see ANY boost until 4600 rpm full boost at 6500 and it just seems doggy and not fun anymore. Any chance extreme psi shipped me the wrong housing like one for the hx40. How do I tell the difference between them. Something is deffinatly wrong

HX40 housing will not fit the HX35 so you definitely got the one that fits your turbo. And yes the T3 is much laggier. You went from a .55ar to .70ar.

The hx40 housing will bolt up to a hx35 turbo, it has the same offset holes and will bolt right up. The problem will leave too much clearance between the turbine wheel and the housing causing more lag, because the turbine wheels are different sizes. It does seem to spool slow, how much psi are you running?

That's VERY slow. I see 35psi by 4500. Did you install the fire ring on the WG?

What gear is your spool figure from? As mentioned above, make sure the sealing ring is in the waste gate, and that the waste gate is fully closing.
