t25 question

is there any difference between a garrett t 25 and the one in our cars

our car has a garrett t-25... assuming you have a 2g

okay thats what i thought, i saw a guy selling a t25 on ebay that he said could produce 20 psi of boost and i told him that it wasnt capable of that. He responded by saying that the t25 in my car couldnt but his is a garrett t 25

you could probably get the t-25 to put out 20psi once or twice.. haha

Or on a 1.5 liter honda it would probably push 20 all day long.

you *can* do 20psi on the t25, but its way out of its efficeincy range. and it flows less than a 16g at 20psi, so its a whole different feel between the two.

When I am at the track my spikes up to 20psi....no problems or weird things going on

...yet

Hrmmm I have known a couple of instances with the proper upgrades to fuel/injectors/tuning 20-23 psi is the max for the T-too-slow for some people.

Out cars have a mitsu turbine housing.

A REAL garret t-25 like what comes on a Mazdaspeed Miata and Mazdaspeed protege and a Nissan 300ZX TT has a garret turbine housing.

Why do you think a T-28 from a Silvia won't fit on our cars, because it's full garret.

Does that mean it's better b/c it's a Mitsu housing?

No it just means a mitsu O2 housing will bolt to it, so the downpipe can then bolt correctly.
