T belt compatibility

Hey guys new to the Forums but i'm lovin everything you guys have done so far. So I have two questions to ask here.
So I currently own a 95 tsi and am in the process of having the engine bored and honed because i fryed a piston.( Pretty sure the reason is because the person i purhased the car from did several mods including upgrading the turbo to a fp big 28 but never upgraded the injectors which leaves me to believe that the car was running to lean hence cooking the piston and scorning the cyclinder wall.)

Question one The timing belts and v belt were replaced 11,000 miles ago, but the guy who is fixing my engine says that i should replace all the belts anyways and donate the old ones.
Do you guys agree

Second question If i should donate the belts my friend has a 95 galant, I believe its a 4G64 2.4 not sure, would those belts fix his car. Not postive what the engine is but its a galant gs.

If the accessory belts are in good condition, reuse them. Or replace them and keep them around as a spare.
Timing belt : reuse if its an 11k miles OEM belt in great, excellent shape, without any fluids spilled onto it.
If there is a doubt, replace it.

The galant runs a different timing belt. The other belts - not sure. Look up the part numbers in an online catalog and see if they match.
