t-25 vs. 14b....

wuts up guys, i'm looking for some advice, i got somebody thats willing to sell me a 14b turbo for $100, now my question is, is the 14b better then a t-25??, does it spool better??, another question i have is if the case is that i should replace the t-25 to the 14b, what do i need to make it fit?? i read a post in reference to this same question earlier but i didnt really understand it to much. so i would like to know what you guys think.

Buy the turbo, 100 dollars is a great deal, and a 14B will kick a T25's ass all day long!!!
Not sure about fitment though, any 2G guys who have done the swap wanna take over?

14b wont spool quite as quick but can run alot more boost and push alot more air through.

To make it fit you will need a j-pipe to get it on to your intercooler pipe but that is the extent of my knowledge on the t25 to 14b swap.

100 bucks is a steal as long as nothing is broken. If so, jump on it.

14b is way better than the t25 not on the spool up though its a little slower but its great!!!!

thanks for the advice, syndicate, i wouldn't mind having some help on the conversion, plus the fact that naples is BORING!!!!!, so i might take u up on that offer......yea i've heard that i need a 1g j-pipe, and of course the lines but the lines i'm gonna steel braid anyways so atleast i can killl 2 birds with one stone......by the way, i'm pretty sure my stock injectors will be fine for now, but just to make sure...what do you guys think??,

you basicly need all the same stuff to install a 14b on a 2g as a b16g - ( the reason alot of people just skip the whole 14b thing and go bigger ) but ya stock injectors will be fine.

Yea, I don't think you can emphasize how much better the 14b is better than the t-25. It doesn't get any worse for us than the t2small. And 100 dollars is a great deal, I'd upgrade it in a heartbeat. Be sure to get a boost controller soon, though.
