T-25 to 14b

How big of an upgrade is a 14b over the stock 2g t-25's. I've searched and read other threads but I'm still curious. I'm just wondering what would be expected, as in how noticeable would the power increase be. Thanks a lot.

almost 100 cfm difference in flow, maybe a little more, so its quite noticeable. Given the low price of 14b's, its well worth the money, which isnt much.

you can get one that has high mileage for 100-150 bucks.... spend 150 for a rebuild kit from Forced Performance and a trip to the machine shop....

I rebuilt my 14b cheaper because I own a little shop, but I got the rotating stuff inside the turbo glass peened, micro polished, and balanced for about 50.... with this balancing and rebuild, it should last a realllllyyyy long time, that is, if taken care of.... you could also source a good cheap used one for about the same price....

It is a great upgrade, do that with a new uicp and 1g bov, and you'll make some great gains. Do some research, because a new 16g is only a little more money for as much as you'll sink into the turbo core, rebuild kit, new flapper, rebalancing, porting, ect.
